When entering the premises, the experience immediately starts off on the wrong foot. There is no designated area for customers to grab a shopping cart, so you’re left wandering around the parking lot like it’s some kind of scavenger hunt. Everyone is on their own, searching between parked cars just to find a usable cart. It’s chaotic, disorganized, and honestly embarrassing for a business of this size. Once you finally spot a cart, things don’t get any better. The carts are in terrible condition—most of them barely roll. You have to push with excessive force just to get them moving, and even then they veer off in random directions. Before you even step foot inside the store, you’re already out of breath from fighting with a broken cart. It feels like a workout nobody signed up for. Inside the store, the frustration continues. Great Facility. They took me 1 day early for my appointment. Was able to get unloaded within an hour and go. Had to pay my lumper fee. It took forever for the payment to go through but I’m not complaining one bit. The staff was very professional and courteous.

The final assessment will be after unloading. The weather didn't allow us to arrive on time. I don't want to be stuck on holiday with a reefer running and seven pallets. Happy New Year!

I recently visited Restaurant Depot in Hartford, CT, and was quite impressed with the overall experience. The store offers an extensive selection of products, catering to both small business owners and larger establishments. From fresh produce to bulk meats and seafood, the variety is truly commendable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist with any questions or help locate specific items. The checkout process was efficient, even during peak hours, which made the shopping experience smooth and hassle-free. One area for improvement could be the organization of certain sections, as it can be a bit overwhelming navigating through the vast inventory. However, the quality and pricing of the products more than make up for this minor inconvenience. Overall, Restaurant Depot in Hartford is a fantastic resource for anyone in the food service industry looking for quality products at competitive prices. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning for future purchases.
